Stunt Race FX – SNES Game

Stunt Race FX is a Super Nintendo racing game that uses the Super FX chip to render its cars and tracks with polygonal 3D graphics. You drive cartoon-styled vehicles with eyes and expressive faces, each with different speed, weight and handling characteristics, across courses filled with jumps, loops, narrow bridges and tunnels. Modes include a series of championship races against computer-controlled rivals, time trials and a stunt-oriented mode where the goal is navigating obstacle courses rather than finishing first. The polygonal presentation runs at a low frame rate, giving the game a distinctive heavy, weighty feel as cars tip, roll and bounce off scenery. A two-player split-screen mode is included, using a simplified visual style to keep both views running.
