To the Earth – NES Game

To the Earth is a light gun shooter for the NES played with the Zapper. You take the role of a pilot carrying medicine back to Earth, viewing the action from inside your cockpit as enemy ships and projectiles approach from the depths of space. Aiming and firing is handled entirely by pointing the Zapper at the screen and pulling the trigger, and stray shots that miss their target drain your energy, so accuracy matters as much as speed. Between stages you travel between planets on your route home, with the pace and volume of incoming enemies increasing as you go. The game requires a CRT television for the Zapper to register hits correctly.
