Crystal Quest – Gameboy Game

Crystal Quest is an arcade-style action game in which you steer a small ship around single-screen arenas, collecting all of the crystals scattered across the playfield before flying into the exit gate to move on. Enemies enter the arena continuously, each type moving in its own pattern, and some fire at you or home in on your position, so gathering crystals means constantly weaving between hazards. You can shoot back, but survival relies mainly on movement and reading enemy behaviour. Waves get faster and more crowded as you progress, mixing enemy types together, and bonus items appear to reward risky pickups. Play is score-driven with no real end point, making it a game about extending a run as long as possible. The Game Boy version keeps the simple, monochrome graphical style of the original.
