The NES follow-up to Double Dragon, in which Billy and Jimmy Lee set out for revenge against the gang responsible for Marian’s death. It is a side-scrolling beat ’em up played across a series of stages that include a helicopter, industrial sites, and enemy strongholds, with platforming sections and pits that can kill you outright. Rather than a single attack button, the control scheme uses directional attacks: one button strikes to the left, the other to the right, which changes how you handle enemies on both sides of you. Moves include the classic jump kick, elbow smash and cyclone spin kick. Two players can play at the same time cooperatively, and difficulty settings alter how many stages you face.
