Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy – NES Game

An entry in the Dizzy series for the Nintendo Entertainment System, starring the egg-shaped adventurer of the same name. The game combines platforming with inventory-based puzzle solving: you explore a large interconnected world, collect objects, and work out which item is needed to clear a given obstacle or help a character. Dizzy can only carry a few items at a time, so backtracking and planning what to leave behind is part of the challenge. Movement uses the series’ distinctive tumbling jump, which commits you to an arc once you leave the ground and makes hazards like water and spikes a constant threat. Colourful cartoon visuals, side-scrolling screens, and a light fairy-tale tone run throughout.
