Gremlins 2 – NES Game

Based on the Gremlins film sequel, this NES action game puts you in control of Gizmo as he makes his way through the floors of a high-rise office building overrun by gremlins. The view is overhead, and you move room to room searching for exits while avoiding or fighting the creatures roaming each area. Gizmo has no strength to speak of on his own, so combat depends on items you pick up along the way, including improvised weapons like tomatoes and paperclips that can be thrown at enemies. Health is limited and enemies respawn, so progress comes from learning the layouts and knowing when to fight and when to run. Levels are broken up by encounters with larger gremlin threats drawn from the film.
