Miner 2049er – Gameboy Game

Miner 2049er is a single-screen platform game built around mine shafts full of girders, ladders, lifts and slides. Rather than simply reaching an exit, you must walk over every section of flooring in a stage; each piece changes colour as you cross it, and the level ends only when the whole structure has been covered. A timer runs throughout, and hazards roam the platforms, so route planning matters as much as jumping accuracy. Some sections require riding equipment or using devices to reach isolated ledges, and mutant creatures can be neutralised by collecting objects scattered around the mine. Stages introduce new layouts and mechanics as you advance. The Game Boy version keeps the puzzle-like, score-chasing structure of the original computer and arcade releases.
