R.B.I. Baseball 95 is a baseball game released for the Sega 32X, the add-on hardware that boosts the Genesis with extra processing power. It follows the R.B.I. series formula, with pitching and batting handled from a view behind the pitcher and fielding shown from a wider angle as you chase the ball and throw to bases. You select pitch types and placement, time swings, and control runners directly. Rosters carry real player names, and modes cover exhibition games and season-length play, either against the computer or a second player. The 32X release makes use of the hardware for a larger colour palette and smoother presentation than the base Genesis entries, while keeping the series’ straightforward, arcade-style controls.
