Saturday Night Slam Masters – SNES Game

Saturday Night Slam Masters brings Capcom’s arcade wrestling game to the Super Nintendo. It plays much closer to a fighting game than a wrestling simulation: you control an exaggerated grappler inside the ring, mixing strikes with grabs, throws, slams and aerial attacks launched from the turnbuckle. The cast features distinctive designs and signature finishing moves, including Mike Haggar from Final Fight. Modes cover one-on-one matches, team bouts and a single-player run at the championship, and multiplayer options let friends settle things directly. Rounds end with pinfalls or knockouts, so building damage and choosing the right moment to attempt a finish is central to how matches play out. Large colourful sprites, animated crowds and a heavy soundtrack give the SNES version its arcade-derived look and feel.
