Street Fighter II – SNES Game

Street Fighter II on Super Nintendo is the home conversion of Capcom’s arcade fighter. You choose one of eight world warriors, each with a distinct set of normal attacks, throws and special moves performed with joypad motions such as quarter-circles and held charges. Single-player play takes you around the world through a series of best-of-three matches, with bonus stages between fights, before facing the four boss characters, who are not selectable here. Two players can fight head to head using the same roster. The SNES six-button pad layout maps directly to the arcade’s three punches and three kicks. Options cover difficulty, round timer and number of rounds, and the game keeps the arcade version’s stage backgrounds and character portraits.
