Taz-Mania – Gameboy Game

Taz-Mania on Game Boy is a side-scrolling action platformer starring the Tasmanian Devil from the Warner Bros. cartoon series. You run and jump through stages set around Taz’s island home, using his spinning tornado attack to barrel through enemies and obstacles and eating items that get in his way. Levels are built around timed jumps, moving hazards and enemies drawn from the show, with larger encounters closing out sections. The monochrome presentation keeps the character’s exaggerated cartoon animation, and the controls are limited to running, jumping and spinning, so the challenge comes from level layouts and timing rather than a deep move set. It is a compact handheld platformer aimed at fans of the series and of straightforward 2D action.
