Urban Strike – Gameboy Game

Urban Strike is an entry in the Strike series of helicopter combat games, adapted for the Game Boy. You pilot an attack helicopter from an overhead view, flying over mission maps to destroy enemy installations, vehicles and defences while completing objectives in sequence. Fuel and ammunition are limited, so you must land at safe zones or collect pickups scattered around each area to keep flying, and rescuing hostages or stranded personnel is a recurring task. Your helicopter carries a chain gun, missiles and heavier ordnance, each with its own supply to manage. Damage accumulates from ground fire and enemy aircraft, making careful approach angles and retreats part of the strategy. The handheld version keeps the series’ mix of arcade shooting and light resource management within compact monochrome mission maps.
