Snake’s Revenge – NES Game

Snake’s Revenge continues the Metal Gear series on the NES, casting you as Snake on an infiltration mission against an enemy force rebuilding a walking nuclear tank. Most of the action plays out from an overhead perspective: you sneak through bases and outdoor areas, avoiding guard sightlines, hugging walls, and using cardboard cover, silenced weapons and knives when stealth is the better option. Getting spotted brings reinforcements, so managing alarms matters. Portions of the game switch to side-scrolling sections where you move and fight from a flat perspective. Along the way you collect keycards, rations and equipment, expand your inventory, and radio contacts for guidance, while boss encounters break up the sneaking with direct fights. Password support lets you resume progress between sessions.
